The Full Story
I’m a mother, a MaternityWise‑certified birth doula, and a Waco, Texas native with a deep, personal connection to the miracle of childbirth. Having welcomed two babies into the world, I understand firsthand the power, vulnerability, and profound transformation birth can bring.
My journey into doula work began at The Starting Place in Temple, TX, where my first birth awakened a reverence for natural childbirth and evidence‑based care. When my midwife suggested I consider a doula, I discovered a remarkable support team—and with it, a calling to guide families throughout Waco, Killeen, Temple, Gatesville, and beyond. Today, I offer birth support that honors your body’s wisdom and your family’s unique vision.
As I learned more about rising maternal mortality, unnecessary inductions, and soaring cesarean rates in our country, I felt compelled to help families advocate for the gentle, empowering birth experiences they deserve. That commitment deepened during my own second‑trimester loss—an experience that, rather than distancing me, enriched my compassion and inspired my work as a doula. I bring an authentic, heart‑centered perspective to every birth and every family I serve.
I firmly believe every mother carries the strength to birth her baby naturally and safely. My role is to walk beside you—breathing with you, reminding you of your inner power, and holding space for your choices. From pregnancy support and birth planning to continuous labor presence and personalized postpartum care, I provide nurturing, nonjudgmental guidance every step of the way.
When I’m not supporting clients, you’ll find me at home, homeschooling my little one and soaking up Central Texas life—whether we’re hiking a hidden trail, baking sourdough together, or painting under the big Texas sky. That same rhythm of slow, mindful living infuses my doula practice, bringing calm, rooted energy to your birth experience.
